Supercook is a great food app similar to others such as Nooddle or Plant Jammer in which users can create delicious dishes after indicating what ingredients they already have.
The way Supercook works is very simple: when you open the app, you'll find a list of foods organized into categories. Your job is to tap on all the food you already have in your pantry or refrigerator. After listing all the ingredients you have on hand, tap 'accept,' after which the app generates a list of recipes from different websites that don't require any additional ingredients beyond the ones you've listed. Unlike Plant Jammer, for example, you don't have to choose a few ingredients for a specific dish; instead, you can just make a list of what you have, and the app takes care of the rest.
One thing to keep in mind about Supercook is that the recipes it shows you are not available from the app itself; instead, each recipe can be found on a website. Thus, from the app, all you can see are the ingredients, quantities, and nutritional values of each dish. To access the entire recipe, you'll have to visit the website where it's located. On the other hand, the app has a 'menu' section where you can organize the different dishes you want to cook during the week, and a 'shopping list' section where you can write down any ingredients you need to buy. Likewise, you can filter the recipes that it suggests based on ingredients to see certain types of dishes or cuisines.
Supercook is a great app for finding recipes that use only the ingredients you already have on hand.
